And it just got a lot easier with Alpha’s new online learning platform:
Alpha Anywhere
Alpha School of Massage has been in operation since 1992 and has been offering no tuition training since 2006. For just $99 per month students get all the education, hands-on training and experience they need to take the state licensing exam. We have partnered with them to give their students access to our local spas to expand the reach of this great program. Other schools are $8000 and more but Alpha students graduate at only a fraction of the cost with no need to borrow money and watch costs rise because of student loan interest. This partnership tackles one of the other things that hold students back, besides cost, distance to school from home. This is where our partnership with Alpha becomes invaluable. We can place up to 50% of the program into our local spas, currently Jacksonville Beach and Yulee/Fernandina (Watch for expansions). Nearly 40% more can be done from home using Alpha Anywhere, Alpha’s online learning platform. This partnership greatly reduces time commitments and gives the students an opportunity to train in a professional atmosphere alongside Licensed Massage Therapists close to home. It’s the best type of training. Practice Makes Professional is one of Alpha’s guiding principles and practice alongside professionals is even better.
